[2018–2020]
Photographs that could be a verse of a poem, or a phrase in a prose.
A series of photographs, that were produced during 2018 to 2020. A series where I started establishing a new relationship with the camera, my body and nature.
These are photographs that could be a verse of a poem, or a phrase in a prose.
Two years looking into the body and into time; into memory and its traces. Two years of turning the camera inwards in the need to make amends, to exhibit, to discover, to understand, to light up and find the shadows. Nature was my greatest ally, my navigator and my compass. The body was my roadmap.
Gestures, so faint and fragile like our own moments in this earth, in this lifetime. A matter of life, a matter of beginnings and of endings. But most of all a matter of the middle ground, of the in-between.
The most precious time we have is the space between the beginning (past) and the ending (future); the now (present).
